Press conference to present the Menorca edition of Think up Culture!
The fifth edition of Think up Culture! will begin in Menorca, this November,and will continue in Barcelona, Izmir, Palma and Ibiza. This edition has been presented in Museu de Menorca and it has a new part: a call of ideas to participate in a mentoring and acceleration program. There is time to apply untill October 28 and the winner will will receive a prize of € 500 in cash..
The vice president of the Insular Council of Menorca, Maite Salord, the Insular Director of Tourism Promotion, Isaac Olives, the Director of Centre Bit, Carmen Crespo and the co-director of Think up Culture! have been responsible for presenting the program and the speakers that will take place this November 14 and 15 at the Centre Bit of #Menorca.
Do not forget that the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI’s) represent a great possibility for economic and social transformation based on talent and innovation.
In these days an approach to the creation of cultural tourism products related to the material and immaterial heritage of Menorca will have place, as well as cinema and territory and digitalization, new technologies and development of new cultural audiences.
You can rethink a new key in the form of film tourism, thanks to the great tangible and intangible heritage that Menorca has both in its territory and its landscapes and gastronomy, without forgetting the importance of innovation and sustainability of that territory.
Proposing cinematographic tourism as a great generator of the territory’s capacities and obtaining a transforming powerfrom the indigenous culture, as well as an essential element, and approaching to studies of the impact on Menorca and its sustainability.
