Cristina Gómez Cuevas has a degree in Tourism and Hospitality from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, and has a Master’s Degree in Tourism Business Management from the University of the Balearic Islands. Since graduation she has developed teaching and business tasks in her country of origin, in the field of travel agencies and tour operators.
In Spain, she has worked in the Directorate General of RDI of the Government of the Balearic Islands in the application of the policies of the regional groupings, in several European innovation projects and in the management of the INTO Innovation and Tourism Seminar, during three editions.
She has been director of the Audiovisual Cluster of the Balearic Islands (CLAB) since 2009 until January 2016, where she has developed projects to promote innovation projects in the Cultural and Creative Industries sector. She is co-founder, has directed Maremostra International Film Festival of Palma and Think up Culture! International Meetings of Patronage and Financing of the ICC’s and has coordinated the Cine Ciutat innovation laboratory until 2016.
She is currently a partner of the company PowerHouse Hub, focused on the management of innovation of cultural and creative projects of international dimension. Since 2016, the company has been responsible for the production of Atlántida Film Fest, for communication, for the professional area of the Menorca Film Festival, and also for the creation of Think Up Culture!
